Employee Spotlight: Cassidy Junot
Each quarter we shine a spotlight on team members who exemplify our dedication to service and our core values. We are pleased to honor Cassidy Junot, Regional General Manager – WellRive, Florida with our President’s Award in Senior Relocation Services.
Cassidy never anticipated discovering her passion in the senior living industry, but 15 years later, she has built a career she loves—one that brings her a sense of purpose she never could have imagined. It all began when she was looking to pivot her career in sales to something new. She walked into a small assisted living community, dropped off her resume, and was hired the very next day. That chance opportunity turned into a profound commitment to serving seniors and their families. After spending years working within senior communities, Cassidy transitioned into senior relocation services, a field where she could blend her operational expertise with her extensive insight into the emotional and logistical challenges of relocation.
Beyond her work in senior relocation, Cassidy is deeply committed to the Alzheimer’s Association, serving as the Chair of Sarasota’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, where she actively raises awareness and funding for the cause. This same passion and dedication extend to her work at WellRive, where she’s a source of inspiration and support for her team, her clients, and the senior community—making her a truly deserving recipient of the Q4 President’s Award.
Q&A
What makes up a good team?
Culture, for sure. A positive culture with great energy makes all the difference. I really focus on building a team that feels like family—one built on trust, support, and teamwork. I believe in leading with an open-door policy, staying involved, and treating every team member as an equal, even when tough conversations are needed. That approach has kept my teams strong, and it’s why so many have followed me through different companies.
What are three critical traits a client should look for in a prospective move management company?
First, ask about the longevity of the team. Having experienced, dedicated professionals makes a huge difference. Second, make sure the company background-checks its employees. At WellRive, we’re proud to say that we do, but unfortunately, many in our industry don’t—even though we’re entering people’s homes, often working with vulnerable seniors who have high-value medications and belongings. Lastly, look for hands-on leadership. I rarely sit at my desk because I believe in being present—checking in on my teams, making sure our clients are happy, and maintaining relationships with the communities we serve.
If you could relocate anywhere, where would it be?
Honestly, I could live anywhere and thrive—I’m a social butterfly and a bit of a workaholic. But if I had to choose, Italy or Hawaii sound amazing. I’d love to launch WellRive in Hawaii! That said, I’m always open to new opportunities and would relocate anywhere if the right opportunity came along.
What’s the best or worst advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice? Keep it fun. If it’s not fun, I’m not doing it. I remind myself of that all the time. The worst advice? “Build it, and they will come.” That’s not how it works. Success takes a lot of hard work, and you have to be willing to put in the effort to make something grow.
